ARAB STREET(1)

Arab Avenue lies between Victoria Streets and Beach front Road inside the Kampong Fashion area, and it is located in the Rochore Organizing Area of the Central Region in Singapore. Friend Stamford Raffles designated the Kampong Glam area as the utmost appropriate place for Middle easterns in Singapore to live. Additional streets nearby are also named after Arabian towns. Arabic Street was a spine intended for transportation in the " Arab Kampong" or perhaps " Muslim Quarter" drawn up in Friend Stamford Raffles' Town Prepare of 1822. By 1824, Arab Road was placed.
